MAEV Academy’s Fourth Grade for children ages 9 – 10 will begin on Friday, August 2, 2024. The last day of this program will be Friday, May 23, 2025. This program will be offered five days a week Monday through Friday from 8:30-1:30. Morning carpool starts at 8:20.

Each child will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for his or her age level. This Fourth Grade experience will emphasize growth in language and literacy, math concepts, science, social studies, arts, health, physical development, social, and emotional growth. We use an advanced Fourth Grade curriculum adding depth into the objectives to challenge and meet each student’s individual needs. All students will be reading and comprehending at an advanced Fourth Grade level or higher by the end of the year. Your child will have the advantage of receiving a quality Christian Fourth Grade education in a small setting with an experienced teacher.

All new students in our 3 year old program and above entering MHEA or MAEV will be required to attend one mandatory assessment day in March for placement for the 2024-2025 school year. If your child currently attends MHEA or MAEV, your child is exempt from this assessment.

$600 REGISTRATION FEE*
By initialing here and signing below, I agree to pay the $600 registration fee which is non-refundable for any reason and non-transferable to another child (or sibling) or to another school year. The registration fee is a separate fee and is not applied to tuition payments. NEW STUDENTS ONLY: We will inform you by Friday, March 22, 2024 with the results of the assessment. If your child does not meet the minimum standards, you will receive a full refund of your child's registration fee.

TUITION*
By initialing here and signing below, I understand that enrollment in the Fourth Grade is for the entire 10 months of the school year and that the tuition is paid in 12 monthly payments beginning June 1st, 2024. Payments should be paid on or before the 1st of each month. Tuition of $6,300 for the Fourth Grade program is paid over 12 months beginning June 1st, 2024 in the amount of $525 per month. If the annual tuition is made in one payment by June 10th, a 5% discount will be given. Tuition paid in full is $5,985 which reflects a total savings of $315.00.
MONTHLY TUITION PAYMENT DUE DATES AND LATE FEES*
By initialing here and signing below, I understand and agree to pay the monthly amount of the annual tuition by the 1st of the month by cash or check as well as a late fee of $5 per day after a three-day grace period (late fees will begin on payments made on the 5th of the month). No exceptions will be made to keep this fair for all parents during the school year.

- PayPal: There is an option for parents to pay with PayPal, but it must include an additional 5% charge. If you elect to complete a payment using this method, you will need to add an additional 5% of the balance due to the amount paid.
- Automatic Credit Card Processing: There is an option for parents to leave a credit card on file at the school to be processed on every 1st of the month when tuition is due. If you elect to complete payment using this method, you will need to add an additional 5% of the balance due to the amount paid. A credit card authorization form must be completed and signed.
RETURNED CHECK FEE*
By initialing here and signing below, I agree to pay $35 for returned checks as the school incurs bank fees and administrative expenses related to returned checks.
WITHDRAW*
A 60 day written notice must be provided for a student needing to withdraw from the program. The full tuition amount will need to be paid for those 60 days.
ACADEMY CLASSES*
Academy classes must have a minimum class size of 16 students. The registration fee will be returned if the minimum class size is not met by February 1st, 2024.

Program Description

This private Fourth Grade program is for children ages 9 to 10 years old. Students must be nine years old as of September 1, 2024 to participate in this class. The registration fee is $600 per child and is a non-refundable and non-transferable fee, which reserves your child’s spot in this program. It is used to order books, art supplies, consumable materials, class folders and notebooks, school backpack, school teeshirt, a Bible, a subscription to Georgia Studies Weekly and Georgia Science Weekly, leveled readers, curriculum materials, and more. The annual tuition will be paid in 12 monthly payments in the amount of $525.00. Payments will begin in June to help lower the monthly cost of tuition. Tuition is due on the first day of each month with late fees beginning on the 5th of each month. The total tuition for the year is $6,300. Absences will not result in a reduction of tuition as registration is for the full school year (10 months).

MAEV Academy at Ms. Heather’s Educational Adventures will utilize the state curriculum standards to provide a consistent academic foundation for students as they progress through an advanced academic experience. This advanced program focuses on Christian values which will

be taught across the curriculum and woven into the fabric of the entire Fourth Grade year. MAEV Academy will provide a balanced approach to learning which will allow students to be taught at their instructional level. As student’s progress through the curriculum they will be presented with advanced academic opportunities that will further their understanding and exposure to higher level thinking skills.

* School uniforms will be required Monday – Thursday for all K-4 MAEV ACADEMY students. Fridays will be student choice or spirit wear!
