We will bring to life the cooking mama game as we learn the foundation and basics of working in the kitchen. This camp will start out with introducing cooking tools and techniques that will be utilizing plastics and playdough. Every cooking mama will have their turn in our realistic toy kitchen allowing them to explore with their imaginations using the kitchen and elements provided. We will focus on kitchen health and safety through each activity. Every cooking Mama needs her own personalized apron which we will decorate and take home at the end of camp. During this camp we will make several non cooked items such as trail mix, cold pizza, fruits, veggies, and more! We will build on our knowledge of healthy foods and trying new things. Our cooking mamas can’t cook without knowing how to write and follow a recipe. We will learn to write (with help) a simple recipe and follow those directions. Your child will be encouraged but not required to try their food creations. Take home boxes will always be an option! For safety reasons your child needs to not have any food allergies to participate in this camp.
